This page explains, in plain English, what dhwaneer.com collects when you browse the site or use the WhatsApp buttons on it, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

What this page covers

DhwaNeer Enviro Solutions LLP ("DhwaNeer", "we", "us") operates dhwaneer.com. This policy covers this website only — the pages you browse and the WhatsApp buttons on them. It does not cover WhatsApp, Google, or any other company's own service; each of those is governed by its own privacy policy, referenced below where relevant.

Information we collect

Pages you visit, and general analytics

Like most business websites, dhwaneer.com uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and, in general terms, how visitors arrive — for example from a search engine, a social network, or another website. This is standard, aggregate web analytics; it is not used to identify you personally.

Advertising click identifiers and campaign tags

When you arrive at dhwaneer.com from a Google ad, the link carries a short tracking code in its web address, usually called a gclid, gbraid or wbraid, and sometimes a gad_source value. If you arrive from a specific campaign we are running, the address may also carry UTM tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) identifying which campaign sent you. We read whichever of these are present in the page address — nothing more.

A first-party cookie named "dw_attr"

We store the values above in a small cookie on your own device, named dw_attr, together with the date and time you first arrived and which page you first landed on. We do not store your name, your IP address, your browser/device details, or any other personal identifier in this cookie.

What we don't collect this way

None of the above asks you to fill in a form — it is read automatically from the page address you already arrived on, and never prompts you to type anything in. This website does not collect payment details, government IDs, or health information.

Why we collect it

DhwaNeer spends money on advertising (currently Google Ads) to reach businesses that need commercial water-treatment work. The only way to know whether that spending is worthwhile is to see which clicks and campaigns actually lead to a genuine WhatsApp enquiry, rather than simply counting website visits. That is the entire purpose of the identifiers and the cookie described above — connecting a marketing click to a real conversation, so we can spend our budget on what brings in enquiries and stop spending on what doesn't.

The WhatsApp button, and WhatsApp's own policies

Every "Chat on WhatsApp" / "Discuss Your Project" button on this site opens a WhatsApp conversation addressed to DhwaNeer, usually with a short message already filled in. Tapping it and pressing send means your message — and your WhatsApp phone number — reaches DhwaNeer, exactly as if you had messaged us directly. From that point on, the conversation happens inside WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp/Meta and governed entirely by WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, not by this page. We'd encourage you to read WhatsApp's own policy if you want to understand how WhatsApp itself handles your information.

In short

Using the WhatsApp button is the same as messaging us directly — please only use it if you're comfortable doing that.

Cookies, and how long we keep things

The dw_attr cookie described above expires automatically after 90 days. We chose 90 days deliberately: it is the same window Google Ads allows for reporting a conversion (such as a sales enquiry) back against the original ad click, so keeping the identifier any longer would serve no purpose — Google would no longer accept it.

If you return after clicking a fresh Google ad, that new click updates the stored identifiers. Otherwise, we keep the first marketing source that brought you to the site rather than the most recent one, so credit goes to whichever campaign actually earned your first visit.

The dw_attr cookie itself never leaves your own device by itself — that's simply how a cookie works. Separately, DhwaNeer has built a system, not yet switched on for visitors to the live site, that — once active — sends a copy of that cookie's contents to our own CRM the moment you tap a WhatsApp button, together with a few extra details captured at that same moment: the page you clicked from, the text on the button, a timestamp, your browser's user agent (capped at 500 characters), and a one-way, salted hash of your IP address — never the IP address itself. That hash cannot be turned back into an address; it exists only to help us notice automated or scripted abuse of the WhatsApp button, not to identify you.

As of the date at the top of this page, that system has not been switched on: tapping a WhatsApp button today sends nothing to our CRM. We will update this page the day that changes.

Wherever an advertising identifier is held — in the cookie, or, once the system above is switched on, in our CRM — it is capped at 90 days, and that cap is now real, not just a promise: a scheduled job clears the click IDs (gclid/gbraid/wbraid), gad_source, the hashed IP, the user agent and any other advertising identifier alongside them from every record older than 90 days. This runs automatically, every night — it does not depend on anyone remembering to do it. UTM tags, the landing page and the referring page are not covered by that cap, because on their own they identify a marketing campaign or a page, never a person, and keeping them is what lets us compare how campaigns perform over a full year. Google Analytics sets its own separate cookies under Google's standard retention settings; the 90-day figure above refers specifically to the dw_attr cookie.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade any information collected through this website to anyone, for any purpose. It is used inside DhwaNeer only, to understand which of our own marketing efforts produce genuine enquiries.

Your choices, and how to request deletion

Because the dw_attr cookie lives on your own device, you can clear it at any time yourself through your browser's cookie or site-data settings — doing so removes the stored information immediately.

If you'd like to ask what, if anything, DhwaNeer holds against a specific enquiry, or would like it deleted, email sales@dhwaneer.com or call +91 93261 42324 and mention "privacy" — we will act on it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as our own tools change — for instance, once the systems referred to above go live. We'll update the date at the top whenever we do. We don't expect this page to grow into dense legal text; we intend to keep it this plain.
